This is a great class to learn to make a sampler. Pat will teach you different blocks and techniques that will help you throughout your quilting "career". You need to know basic quilting skills before taking this class. It is not the beginning basics class. Fabric: 3 yards of a focal print. It is best your fabric is a multi-color print and a medium to large scale. If you choose a print that is only 2 colors such as blue and white it is difficult to choose supporting colors unless youy want an all blue quilt. Choosing the Supporting Fabrics: DO NOT try to match colors exactly. Instead choose similar or close to colors that blend. Choose five 1/3 yard each - light to dark. 2 Yards of background fabric.
